Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- Quick Oats
- Bragg's Liquid Aminos *
- Season Salt
- Butter / Olive Oil based butter substitute
- Spices
- Milk / Soy, Rice, or Almond Milk
- Warm Water
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 °F.
- Mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl to taste. My personal suggestion is to add cayenne pepper (to add spice and help increase circulation and metabolism), onion powder, and garlic powder. You may also want to include sage powder (this will add more of a sausage-styled taste to the burgers). The texture should be gooey at this stage and should look kind-of like a strange-colored oatmeal.
- Divide onto non-stick cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Flip the burgers and bake for 5 minutes longer.
- Remove from oven and serve.
- Leftovers can be frozen and make a wonderful snack, lunch, or dinner item!
Additional Instructions:
Please note that the cook time may vary based on the moister level of the burgers themselves and the altitude at which you are located. Please keep an eye on them and poke them with a fork to insure desired texture. I, personally, prefer mine to be fairly moist. Although, I have baked a few very crispy burgers before. Ha! The joys of multitasking.

I hope you enjoy experimenting with different spices and combinations. Oh, and I hope you also have great fun in the process!
