Welcome to the 12 Weeks to a Healthier You program! In the next twelve weeks I will be changing, adding to, or reinforcing elements of your lifestyle to create a healthier you! As with any program, I suggest consulting a medical professional before beginning work on yourself in any way.
All too often exercise and nutrition programs assume some level of knowledge, fitness, or healthy lifestyle to either be established already or assumes that the individual can (or even should) jump right into it. The body takes time to adapt and change. This program is designed to prime the pump and give you the foundation that you need to build and live a healthier life. If you are doing anything in this program already such as drinking eight cups of water (64 oz.) a day, then commend yourself and let that step be a week of encouragement for you -- you are on the right track; keep it up! If there is something new in a step, I suggest either adding it or gradually changing your lifestyle to reflect the healthier choice options.
